In my work at Brandywine Workshop and Archives, I had the privilege of creating
a full-scale exhibition catalog for a recent exhibition that is now traveling stateside to
sister printmaking organizations.
Recreating Philadelphia's first cat cafe located in Brewerytown. This redesign gives a vibrant and exciting new look to the purrisian cat cafe that reflects the chaotic and fun nature of the cats it houses in hopes of finding them new homes.
One of my tasks at Brandywine Workshop and Archives was reviving the defunct Artura.org social media pages to bring in new students of the arts to learn more about our artists. Bon a Tirer was a campaign bringing awareness to one artist each week and the work they did at Brandywine Workshop as visiting artists and where they went from there.
Creature Keepers is an imagined subscription box service that brings science and oddities to your doorstep. The Bug Box introduces the art of entomology and insect preservation to individuals of all ages with easy to follow instructions, required tools, and a monthly speicies of bug to explore.
This project tackled redesigning the current design package for Overbrook School for the Blind, located in the Overbrook neighborhood outside of Philadelphia, bringing a refreshed and family-friendly feeling to the school brand.
For this project, I tied together the themes of three of F. Scott Fitzgerald's most famous books: "Tender is the Night" , "The Great Gatsby" , and "This Side of Paradise". These three book cover designs play off of one another and reference the shared commonalitiy of struggle to find one's self in romance and young adulthood.
Letters to a Young Poet assembles several letters written by novelist and poet Rainer Maria Rilke to younger poet Franz Xavier Kappus acting as sage advice for any young creative beginning the persuit of their craft. A selection of these letters are assembled into a zine pairing them with collections of photography capturing small moments of life.
MIND is a fictional quarterly publication featuring the complex and often challenging world of mental disorders like depression, anxiety, and PTSD through the lense of lived experiences and scientific study. This issue of MIND tackles anxiety and the difficulties it presents in daily life from social situations to need for medical intervention.
How the Mighty Fall
Whalefalls make up some of the most diverse ecosystems found in the deepest depths of othe world's oceans. How the Mighty Fall brings to life the stages of a whalefall from the death of the whale to the abundance of life it sustains on the ocean floor. This exhibition brings each stage to life in life sized detail.
Food in Places It Doesn't Belong
Food in Places it Doesn't Belong is a mini zine cataloging different food items found outside of their natural environment. This collection was curated by myself and my friend Rosa keeping our eyes peeled for the odd places food can end up.
